What is the IMHA’s refund policy?
All requests for refunds must be provided in writing to both the Registrar and Treasurer. The last date for voluntary withdrawal with a full refund is September 15th. All refund requests after September 15th will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the Executive Board and should the Executive Board agree on issuing a refund, the refund shall be issued to the entity from whom the registration fee was received. Once a refund is issued, that player is no longer eligible to play for the IMHA during that season
Prorated refunds may be permitted if a hockey injury or unrelated medical illness is to keep the player out for 8 weeks or longer, (doctor’s note is required). No refund will be permitted if an injury is sustained participating in extracurricular activities. After January 31, no refunds will be completed. A$200.00 administration fee plus the prorate for the season–based on 6 months, will be calculated. Refunds will be reviewed by the IMHA Board for approval.
Any player that makes AA or AAA will receive a full refund.
Additional detailed refund information is in the Policies & Procedures.
