Firstly, we would like to thank you for your patience during this unprecedented hockey season. It has been a very difficult season but your cooperation and resilience has enabled our minor hockey family to pull together during this pandemic.
We would also like to thank all of the coaches, managers and volunteers that have helped the association throughout this difficult year, despite another unfortunate and sudden conclusion to the season. It is the dedication of all of these volunteers, their countless hours, both on and off the ice, that allow IMHA to continue to offer a high quality hockey program.
Please note that, if they haven’t already, Coaches/Managers will be reaching out to all members of their teams to take care of any outstanding items, i.e. Jerseys and/or pictures.
Meanwhile, IMHA board has been diligently working on creating a credit structure that will be fair to all players and their families as a result of the season concluding so early. It is important that all families understand that there are multiple factors that impact the spending of registration dollars and there are fixed expenses that the association is required to pay on behalf of every IMHA player regardless of if the player ever steps on the ice. While most of our partners/suppliers have been very fair in issuing the association partial credits/refunds, there are other costs that are unavoidable regardless of the length of our season.
At this time we would like to acknowledge the great work BVAS/Indus Rec Centre has done in not only riding out this crazy year with us, but also their willingness to work with all minor sports associations in order to ensure that we are all in a position to resume normal operations once we are able.

While we realize there are some slight discrepancies between the number of ice times each team within an age group received this season, these differences were minimal and did not constitute enough of a difference to adjust the credit amount by individual team.
Unless otherwise requested, all credits will be posted to family accounts for each player by March 31
st, 2021 (such that they can be applied to next year’s registration fees as part of the online registration system). Requests for outright refunds will be considered on a case by case basis and must be submitted to
president@indusminorhockey.ca prior to March 21
st, 2021.
